In Linux, TexMaths doesn't work with snap or flatpak but works with appimage packages. In Windows, TexMaths doesn't work if user name contains special characters like é, ö, ü, ê, etc. TexMaths is multiplatform extension and should work under Windows, Linux and MacOS X systems. All you need is a working LaTeX installation, at least one of the two programs dvipng or dvisvgm and of course the TexMaths LibreOffice extension.
